In 1969, the Ipswich Police Association was established as a professional non profit organization. The IPA is committed to supporting our members both past and present and the community we serve.

We believe in a dedicated career of integrity, compassion, and leadership so we can continue a life of service greater than ourselves. Through this, we can continue to build and maintain a stronger community both within the association and with the Town of Ipswich.
The goals of the IPA are to maintain both a healthy working relationship within the association and the community. To inspire and advance the careers of our members and to foster a working environment where our members feel safe and protected. With this in mind, the outcome will be open communication, teamwork and a better quality of life for our members and the community.
As police officers, we recognize what a tremendous responsibility and opportunity we have to make a positive difference in our community. We believe that with membership engagement, we can make an impactful difference within our association and the community we serve.
